MARC BLAKE
Marc Blake is a hugely experienced stand-up. A finalist in the first Hackney Empire New Act
of the year Awards, he later garnered his own TV special "EUROCOMEDY", and a BBC Radio 4
series "WHINING FOR ENGLAND" both of which he also wrote. In ten years, he played over two
thousand gigs, including the Comedy Store, many theatres, Arts centres and decrepit rooms
above pubs.
After a sabbatical, he returns invigorated with a vibrant character act whose attitudes and
opinions are quite different to the usual comedy fare. HELMUT is growing from strength to
strength, so see him now while you can still feel smug about being there at the beginning.
